Gapwaves: Hella’s major win likely involves Gapwaves - Redeye

On 11 December 2025, Hella announced its first series production order for High-Resolution Radar (HRR) sensors based on the Gen 7 platform. This agreement with a global premium manufacturer involves a production volume in the low-to-mid three-digit million euro range (~EUR100m-500m), with serial production scheduled to commence in mid-2028. Following discussions with Gapwaves management, Redeye understands the company is highly confident that its waveguide antenna technology is central to this deal. While the precise commercial structure—whether direct supply or licensing—remains to be finalised, Redeye views this as a critical validation of the platform’s viability, and as a catalyst to narrow the valuation gap to its Base Case.
