Hexagon competitor Renishaw is raising its full-year forecasts in connection with an update for the first quarter.

The revision comes after the company saw particularly strong demand from customers in semiconductors, electronics manufacturing, and aerospace and defense, which has led to a significant increase in the order book.
According to the company, revenue is now expected to amount to GBP 775-805 million for the 2026 fiscal year, compared with the previously guided GBP 740-780 million. The forecast can be compared with Bloomberg's analyst consensus of GBP 756.8 million.
Adjusted profit before tax is expected to amount to GBP 145-165 million, compared with the previously expected GBP 132-157 million. Analysts' expectations here are GBP 144.9 million.
The company will report more detailed information on the development for the first quarter on May 6.
