Redeye briefly comments on the recent discussion surrounding the statistical power assumptions in Cinclus Pharma’s ongoing phase III HEEALING1 study with lead candidate linaprazan glurate. While we acknowledge that the 43% lansoprazole healing-rate assumption warrants scrutiny, we do not believe the recent discussion provides evidence that the study is underpowered.
