Redeye leaves a comment following AlzeCure’s announcement that it has received the full USD12m upfront payment from QuantumCell. While expected, the payment marks a de-risking milestone, with USD7m received as a licence payment and USD5m as a direct investment. With the payment, all conditions for completion of the transaction have been fulfilled, and we believe the transaction materially strengthens the investment case while allowing the company to focus its resources on the remaining pipeline.
