AlzeCure has out-licensed the global rights for Alzstatin ACD680 to Eli Lilly in a deal potentially exceeding USD1bn (excluding royalties). The agreement includes a USD10m upfront payment, development and commercial milestones, and tiered mid-single-digit royalties. Given that the upfront alone corresponds to almost 60% of AlzeCure's current market cap, and that the agreement definitively validates the company's research by partnering with the world's largest pharmaceutical company, we expect a triple-digit share price reaction today.
