Duell’s sales were flat organically and ahead of our and FactSet consensus expectations in Q2, while profitability was weak. The announced profit warning indicates weakening performance in H2 as the problems in France have become more severe. There are no dramatic changes outside of France, and Duell has started improvement actions, but decreased profitability pressures the balance sheet and increases the risk of needing new capital.
