Synact Pharma: Preclinical resomelagon data support use in osteoarthritis - Edison

SynAct Pharma has reported that some early preclinical data have shown that resomelagon may reduce inflammation and joint damage associated with osteoarthritis, and, hence, may reduce pain and improve quality of life for this patient population. While the current focus is in rheumatoid arthritis, these latest findings support the exploration of the drug candidate in this new indication. Further data are due to be presented at the 17th World Congress of Inflammation, to be held in Brazil, 8–12 September 2026.
