The AI company OpenAI is losing three more managers in a series of leadership changes.

Among those leaving are Bill Peebles, who led the discontinued video app Sora, as well as Kevin Weil and Srinivas Narayanan. Weil was recruited in 2024 and later started the research initiative OpenAI for Science, while Peebles was central to the launch of Sora, which has recently been shut down as part of cost-cutting measures.
The changes come as the company is decentralizing its research operations.
